What is a Market-Linked GIC?
A Market-Linked GIC (MLGIC) offers a guaranteed minimum return and your principal with the potential for a greater return than a typical GIC. Your investment grows depending on the market performance of a basket of underlying companies during the investment term.
Kindred offers three different options to choose from, each offering three- and five-year terms. Eligible deposits in registered accounts have unlimited coverage through Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA). Eligible deposits not in registered accounts are insured up to $250,000 through FSRA.
