Community Guidelines

Our shared values of integrity, compassion, and stewardship extend to the content on our website and social media. We welcome everyone’s questions and comments. Please use common courtesy within our online community and share your opinions and feedback in a respectful manner.

Kindred Credit Union (Kindred) reserves the right to moderate all comments on social media and remove ones that are considered offensive and / or block users who violate these guidelines.

Kindred may delete, remove, or hide the following types of posts at its discretion:

    • Posts that are disparaging in nature or include offensive, inflammatory, or inappropriate commentary or content;
    • Posts that contain threats or suggest violent or illegal behaviour;
    • Posts that violate the privacy of our members, or posts that contain sensitive information such as email addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, or any other confidential information; and
    • Posts that spam, solicit, advertise, promote, or endorse any other commercial, political, or government organisation. Our social media pages provide helpful information about how Kindred delivers on its purpose, they are not to be used for the public’s endorsement of third parties.
